Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween 2018 by Ari Sandel

 Synopsis

While gathering garbage one day, closest companions Sonny and Sam meet Slappy, a wicked talking sham from an unpublished "Goosebumps" book by R.L. Stine. Wanting to begin his very own family, Slappy hijacks Sonny's mom and takes the majority of his ghoulish companions back to life - without a moment to spare for Halloween. As the sluggish town progresses toward becoming overwhelm with beasts, witches and different puzzling animals, Sonny unites with his sister, Sam and a compassionately neighbor to spare Sonny's mother and thwart Slappy's arrangement.
