40 years of a successful marriage, Joan Castleman starring Glenn Close and Joe Castleman starring Jonathan Pryce are the perfect soulmates to each other. Joe happens to be a narcissist having a self-obsessive nature, Joan is the opposite of that. Joe is a well acclaimed American Novelist who enjoys his “very public life”, Joan is very supportive of that and sews the great man with her incredible grace, charisma, and wisdom. The so “successful” marriage of Joe and Joan is built on Joan’s untold sacrifices of dreams and aspirations for the sake of the fame of her husband.
