Serenity 2019 by Steven Knight

 Synopsis

From the imaginative personality of Oscar candidate Steven Knight comes a daringly unique, attractive, adapted spine chiller. Pastry specialist Dill (Academy Award champ Matthew McConaughey) is an angling watercraft commander driving visits off a quiet, tropical enclave called Plymouth Island. His peaceful life is broken, be that as it may, when his ex Karen (Academy Award champ Anne Hathaway) tracks him down with a frantic supplication for help. She asks Dill to spare her - and their young child - from her new, brutal spouse (Jason Clarke) by taking him out to ocean on an angling journey, just to toss him to the sharks and abandon him for dead. Karen's appearance pushes Dill over into an actual existence he'd attempted to overlook, and as he battles among good and bad, his reality is dove into another reality that may not be all that it appears.
