ANYTHING is a flighty sentiment about Earl, a moderately aged widower who moves to Los Angeles to be with family, and who states his freedom by leasing a loft in a crude neighborhood brimming with "brilliant" characters. Most bright of all is Frida, a transgender adjacent neighbor who happens to discover Earl-the quintessential Southern Gentleman-similarly as colorful as he discovers her. Framing a relationship that is immediately sudden and inescapable, this confounded combine give each other much-required put stock in, regard... and that's only the tip of the iceberg. Featuring John Carroll Lynch, Matt Bomer, and Maura Tierney.
