 Synopsis

This movie tells the story of a great comedian Kumail Nanjiani who fall in love with a grad student Emily V. Gordon after a successful standup show. Kumail is Pakistan-born. Nonetheless, what they thought would be only a one-night stand blooms into the genuine article, which confuses the life that is anticipated from Kumail by his customary Muslim guardians. Michael Showalter is the director of this movie and distributed by Amazon Studios, Lionsgate Films.
