 Synopsis

Nico, 1988 directed and written by Susanna Nichiaralli is the story of the famous Velvet Underground singer Nico who’s nearing her 50’s and is leading a cloistered life. Things in Nico’s life take a turn when her manager Richard fixes her up to perform again and tour Europe to promote her new music album. Nico struggles with her past memories and tries to settle her relationship with her son whose custody she lost a long time ago. Nico depicts the story of a Stalwart and courageous woman with various shades of a musician, an artist, a mother and a brave-hearted person.
