 Synopsis

Gold is the story of India’s Olympic journey in which the country won its first ever Olympic gold medal in Hockey post-independence. It is a Hindi historical drama starring finest Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Nikita Dutta, and Vineet Kumar Singh. Directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Farhan Akhtar, Gold is a mix of true incidents from the summer Olympics, 1948 field hockey. It is the story of a young assistant Manager Tapan Das, being played by Akshay Kumar who’s virtue is to play Hockey and bring a gold medal for his independent nation. The movie comprises of melodious numbers that are worth listening on a loop. Releasing on 15th August, this movie is sure to inspire every individual.
